UConn staved off a storming Marquette, surviving a late-run to drag out a 72-66 victory on Wednesday. The win means the Huskies sweep the Golden Eagles on this season’s sequence and the 2 groups are actually tied for third place within the Huge East convention.Â
UConn ripped off 10 straight factors with dunks by Jaylin Stewart, Tarris Reed Jr. and Samson Johnson to take a 61-54 lead with 7:49 remaining.
