[This is the part 2 in our Nerd Fitness Challenge series – designed to help you build fitness habits that last. You can read part 1 here.

In the last step​, you identified the things that usually get in the way when you try to stay consistent.

Now we’re going to use that information to choose a starting plan – not your “forever” one.

In the video below, I walk you through how to pick:

  • One workout focus
  • And an optional nutrition focus

Exercises

  • Take a look at your schedule and resolve what number of brief exercises per week are lifelike
  • Write: “I’ll work out ___ instances per week”

Vitamin (non-obligatory)

  • Choose one focus.
  • Intention for 5 instances per week, not day by day
  • Write: “I’ll concentrate on ___ 5x per week”

5 instances per week provides you flexibility and momentum.
