No. 2 UNC baseball (35-7-1, 16-6 ACC) outlasted Duke (22-22, 8-14 ACC), 3-1, on Thursday evening at Jack Coombs Discipline. Junior right-handed pitcher Jason DeCaro carried North Carolina to the sport one victory in a sluggish offensive efficiency. DeCaro made his eleventh begin on the mound for UNC, and the junior right-hander was in a groove early.
